The HFJ Way

When we come together around music we love, we are at our best. We sing together. Dance together. Laugh. Feel. Connect. We unite in harmony. Musical vibrations resonate with our bodies and spirits. The inevitable smile that comes during and as a result of our experience amplify positivity.

The Huck Finn Jubilee hosts some of the greatest bluegrass musicians in the world, but more importantly the Jubilee creates a place for music and art lovers of all ages to commune and celebrate together. In addition to the Festival Stage, our Marketplace, Family Activities, and LIL’ Huckers KID ZONE make the Huck Finn Jubilee a magical experience for the whole family.

Experience the Huck Finn Jubilee with us September 27 & 28 at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario, California!

Let's help each other out.

Family Yoga

Get your bodies ready for dancing with our family yoga class, led by Kristen!

Check Back for our Family Yoga Schedule and Details!

Kristen is an embodiment of infinite love, a student of mystery, and dancer of the cosmic dance. Her yoga classes invoke freedom through movement and joyful expression using yoga as a pathway to transformation through embodiment. Expect to laugh, dance and get off your mats in her classes.

Kristen has been studying with Shiva Rea and teaching Prana Vinyasa yoga since 2012. Kristen’s passions for music and yoga come together in her classes at music and yoga festivals, including several in Telluride and Crested Butte, Colorado.

When Kristen isn’t on her yoga mat or shakin’ her bones to live music, she can often be found on a sailboat or getting lost in nature with her black lab and spirit animal, Piper. She also sings with a group called the San Diego Resistance Revival Chorus, a collection of multilingual, multigenerational, and interfaith women who sing protest songs in the spirit of joy and resistance.

Kristen is thrilled to be a part of the Huck Finn family as a yoga teacher this year and can’t wait to boogie with y’all!

LIL’ HUCKER KID ZONE

The entire family is welcome to the 2019 Huck Finn Jubilee! Children 12 and Under are Free! We’re proud to be a festival that offers activities and fun for people of any age, especially the Lil’ Huckers (our name for kids that attend the Huck Finn Jubilee). We want to encourage children of all ages to love, create, and share their own unique music and art. We’ve created a KID ZONE at the festival especially dedicated to Kid friendly activities. Please note that parental supervision is requested at all times.

For the first year Living Folklore will be hosting the kids area with stilt-walkers and giant puppets to add ambience to your Huck Finn experience. Living Folklore has been a favorite at Telluride Bluegrass Festival for over 20 years and they promise to make this year’s festival interactive and epic for kids and families! If you have never seen a giant puppet parade before, you are in for a treat. This year’s theme is Alice in Wonderland. There will be flags, umbrellas, and costumes for the whole family to join an afternoon parade each day. Come by the kids tent to get a picture with the giant puppets, enjoy the performances and workshops or have your kid get their face painted. For more info on Living Folklore, visit www.livingfolklore.com
