Crafts

THE AMERICAN COUNTRY CRAFTS FAIR occupies another village full of merchants. They feature clothing, home decorator items, toys, sculpture, quilts and wood arts. Demonstrations take place throughout the weekend and hand crafted chairs and cowboy hats are available for anyone who wants to sit a spell.

A MOUNTAIN MAN VILLAGE AND CAMP lies along the shores of horseshoe lake and offers up tomahawk throwing, musket loading, fire-building and storytelling.  Pies cooked in Dutch ovens, fur trappers in buckskins and calico shirts, artisans demonstrating rope making and blacksmithing. All this and more make for a distinctively turn of the century atmosphere.
